One Club. One Curriculum. One Pathway.

At Buffalo Stallions, every team is part of something bigger. Our teams don’t just wear the same crest. They follow the same playing and training model, built on professional periodization, the same structured approach used by academies across the U.S. and Europe.

What this means for your player

Periodization means a season isn’t a random collection of practices and games. Training is planned in deliberate phases, each with clear technical and tactical themes, appropriate workloads, and time for players to learn, apply, and consolidate. In practice, your child’s development is designed, not left to chance.

Built for the ages U9-U12

These years are widely recognized as a critical window for technical learning. Our curriculum is designed around that:

  • U9-U10: Foundation. Ball mastery, coordination, and creativity. Lots of touches, small-sided games, and a love of playing. Players learn to be comfortable on the ball in tight spaces.

  • U11-U12: Application. Building on that technical base with decision-making, combination play, and understanding of space and roles in the 9v9 format, along with a growing awareness of team shape and principles of play.

Winning matters, but at these ages it is never the measure of a successful season. Development is.

A true club pathway

Each age group builds directly on the last. A player who finishes U10 with us arrives at U11 with a coach who knows exactly what they’ve learned, what comes next, and how to pick up from there. Coaches share one curriculum, one language, and one standard, so players don’t “start over” with each new team.

That continuity is what separates a club from a collection of teams, and it’s what defines the academy environment we’ve built here.
