WHO WE ARE — The Buffalo Stallions are Western New York’s nonprofit professional-development soccer academy. We provide boys and girls with a connected pathway from their earliest training experiences through premier youth soccer, college preparation and the NPSL. We combine ambitious soccer development with honest evaluation, age-appropriate expectations and genuine care for every player. Our purpose is not only to produce quality soccer players, but to help develop quality students, dependable teammates and confident young people prepared for their next challenge.

DEVELOPMENT WITH A PROFESSIONAL PLAN — At the Buffalo Stallions, training is never a random collection of drills. Every session is part of a carefully planned development process. Under the direction of Technical Director and A-licensed coach Rudy Pompert, the Stallions use a proven European and professional-style periodization model that connects training across every age group and every stage of the season. Technical, tactical, physical and psychological objectives build upon one another. Workloads are managed appropriately, and players learn the skills and game understanding they need for what comes next. This is professional thinking applied to youth development.

DEVELOPING THE WHOLE PLAYER

WE DEVELOP THE WHOLE PLAYER
Our responsibility does not end when training finishes. We want Stallions players to become technically accomplished, tactically intelligent and confident competitors. We also want them to become responsible students, supportive teammates and strong young people.
Players learn to respond positively to challenges, take responsibility for their preparation, communicate respectfully, balance soccer with academics and represent themselves, their families and their club with pride.

OUR MISSION
To provide Western New York players with a professional, periodized and player-centered development environment that helps each individual reach their highest potential. Through purposeful coaching, honest evaluation and meaningful competition, we develop intelligent soccer players, responsible students, confident leaders and people of character on and off the field.

OUR VALUES
PLAYER FIRST • PURPOSEFUL COACHING • HONEST GROWTH • CHARACTER • OPPORTUNITY • COMMUNITY
PREMIER SOCCER WITH A CONSCIENCE
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our purpose extends beyond wins and trophies. We reinvest in players, coaches, facilities and financial assistance so more Western New York families can access high-level soccer. Our financial-assistance program has provided more than $75,000 in support to players and families. Every sponsor, donor and community partner helps us remove barriers while maintaining a professional development experience.
